YIREH is passionate about changing the narrative of the industry and showcasing that fashion can be a positive force for change. Women are so strong and unique, and their goal is to design clothing that reflects that. They truly believe that you make their clothing beautiful, and not the other way around.
Yireh is designed in Honolulu, Hawai’i and ethically produced in Bali, Indonesia. At Yireh they practice “slow fashion” and currently partner with a female-founded WRAP Certified ethical factory that has safe conditions, pays their worker's fair wages (exceeding the government minimum standard wage), and offers health and dental benefits, as well as overtime pay and paid breaks. They visit the factory as often as possible and have personal relationships with the artisans there.
They also digitally print their fabrics using no water and non-toxic, eco-friendly dyes, leaving behind very little waste. Any leftover fabric is used to create smaller products such as scrunchies or pareos. Even their scrap fabrics are sold to micro-businesses around the factories they partner with and then repurposed. Giving back is ingrained in their company's culture and they donate to anti-trafficking organizations annually. Yireh believes that you don’t have to sacrifice your style for your values, that’s why they do their best to make sure you have peace of mind with every purchase.
